Yesterday was my 1st practice session with my RC8. I love the torque this thing has! It has gotten me into trouble a few times though, launching the car way further than I was expecting! Luckily nothing bad happened as a result. While it feels very planted, I think I could use more pack in the shocks as it lands really hard. It is also seems a bit nose heavy, but that could've been the shape of a certain jump and not the car. It could use more rotation in the hairpins too, and I think I was under geared.
I plan to make some changes to correct these issues and hit the track again soon :)
New parts
-AE aluminum front and rear chassis braces
-DE front and rear skid plates
-AE 2.8mm yellow rear sway bar
Setup changes
-Gear up to a 17 tooth pinion
-Change shock oil to 40 front and 35 rear
-Increase front droop to 101mm
